FAQ

The common problems in the maintenance of workover rig mainly include the following points:

1. Wear of mechanical parts:

Due to long-term high-load operation, the mechanical parts such as the drawworks, drive shaft, power head, drill pipe, etc. of the workover rig may have serious wear, fracture or deformation.

2. Hydraulic system failure:

Such as hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, such as leakage, blockage, wear, failure, etc., may lead to insufficient pressure, unstable action or can not work properly.

3. Abnormal lubrication system:

Poor lubrication can lead to overheating, excessive wear of each motion pair, and even serious phenomena such as seizure and ablation.

4. Failure of safety device:

If the safety devices such as brake system, anti-collision crane and safety limit switch have problems, the safety of workover operation will be directly threatened.

5. Power system failure:

Such as diesel engine overheating, weakness, difficulty in starting, low oil pressure, fuel system blockage, etc.

6. Transmission system failure:

Such as gear box wear, chain break, drive shaft damage, hydraulic motor failure, etc.

7. Control system failure:

Such as electronic control system failure, abnormal instrument display, sensor damage, etc.

For the above problems, regular maintenance, reasonable operation and timely and effective fault diagnosis and repair are very important. At the same time, it is also indispensable to strengthen the technical training of operators and improve their understanding of common faults of workover rig and their handling capacity.
