1. Improve drilling technology
From the point of view of rotary drilling, in order to improve the drilling speed, we should mainly increase the rock breaking energy of the drill bit at the bottom of the rock, and improve the two factors of weight on bit and speed. Because the technical improvement of bit pressure and speed will be limited by many factors, the technical ability at this stage is mainly to improve the speed. There are two main ways to increase the rotation speed: on the one hand, increasing the rotation speed of the rotary table or using the top drive device, and on the other hand, using the compound drilling technology of downhole power drilling tools and low-speed rotating drill string. However, the first method is limited by the strength of the drilling tool and the energy of the drilling rig, and the speed increase is limited. The composite drilling technology of PDC downhole power drilling tool can give full play to the characteristics of PDC bit suitable for high speed shearing formation, greatly improve the PDC bit speed and mechanical rock breaking energy, so as to improve the mechanical drilling speed.
2. Improve the level of equipment
According to the theory of jet drilling, the impact force of jet determines the effect of hydraulic rock breaking. The laboratory test proves that the rock can withstand the external pressure resistance than the internal pressure resistance and tensile strength is high, and the rock undergoes hydraulic fracturing and hydraulic crushing under the action of considerable hydraulic pressure. In particular, it has achieved remarkable results in improving the penetration rate of the upper and middle sections of deep wells, because the main reason for the low penetration rate of large-size drill bits in deep wells is the lack of rock breaking energy of the drill bits, while the formation lithology of the large-size section of deep wells is relatively soft. If we can make full use of the high-pressure hydraulic jet energy to break rock, the hydraulic high-pressure jet energy and the mechanical energy of the drill bit will greatly improve the mechanical cobalt speed of large-size well sections.



3. Acceleration of underbalanced drilling technology
Many laboratory experiments and a large number of field actual drilling statistics show that the positive pressure difference of over-balanced drilling not only causes pollution of oil and gas reservoirs, but also easily aggravates formation leakage, especially in low pressure, deficit and fractured formations. At the same time, due to the pressure holding effect of positive pressure on formation rocks, it is also one of the most important factors affecting drilling speed. Under-balanced drilling can significantly improve mechanical drilling speed and reduce complex leakage, so as to improve the drilling speed of exploration wells. When the conditions are ripe, it can be converted to atomized drilling, foam drilling and aerated fluid drilling.
4. Optimization of drilling fluid technology
After years of exploration and time, the drilling fluid technology suitable for fast drilling has been basically formed. The drilling fluid system used in the upper section of the deep well can be divided into three categories:(1) potassium ammonium polymer drilling fluid system;(2) polymer-potassium humate drilling fluid system;(3) potassium polysulfonate lime drilling fluid system. On the basis of the original polymer drilling fluid, sulfonated treatment agent, inorganic salt or polymer containing potassium ion, anti-collapse agent and lubricant are added to the middle formation to form polysulfonate drilling fluid, potassium-based polysulfonate drilling fluid and polysulfonate anti-card anti-collapse drilling fluid system respectively. In the lower Xujiahe Formation, the lithology is sandstone, shale, carbonaceous shale sandwiched with coal seam (line), which is easy to peel off and collapse, with developed fractures and two different pressure systems. Among them, polysulfonate anti-card anti-collapse drilling fluid system is widely used and has good effect.
