The basic parameters are the main technical basis for the design, manufacture, selection, use, maintenance and transformation of drilling rigs.
The basic parameters of the drilling rig are mainly composed of the main parameters, the parameters of the lifting system, the parameters of the rotating system, the parameters of the circulating system and the parameters of the driving system according to the system classification.
Among the basic parameters, one of the most important parameters is selected as the main parameter. The main parameters should have the following characteristics, which can directly reflect the drilling capacity and main performance of the drilling rig; it has influence and decision on other parameters, and can be used to calibrate the drilling rig model and serve as the main technical basis for the design and selection of drilling rigs.
The nominal drilling depth L (the upper limit of the nominal drilling depth range) is used as the main parameter in China's drilling rig standards. Because the maximum drilling depth of the drilling rig affects and determines the size of other parameters. There is no unified national symbol for drilling rigs, but the drilling rigs produced by major companies basically take the nominal drilling depth range as the main parameter.
