What taboos do we need to know when maintaining deep well drilling rigs?
For plunger injection pumps, many maintenance personnel do not pay attention to check the plunger stroke margin. The stroke margin of the plunger refers to the amount of movement that the plunger can continue to move upward after being pushed to the top dead center by the cam on the camshaft.
After adjusting the oil supply start time, the reason for checking the stroke margin is because the stroke margin of the plunger is related to the wear of the plunger and the sleeve. After the plunger and sleeve are worn, the plunger needs to move up a little more to start oil supply, which will delay the start of oil supply. When the adjusting bolt is loosened or replaced with a thicker adjusting block or washer, the lower position of the plunger will move upward, thereby reducing the stroke margin of the plunger. Therefore, when repairing and debugging the fuel injection pump, the stroke margin should be checked first to determine whether the fuel injection pump can still be adjusted.

During the inspection process, according to the different structures of the fuel injection pump, the following different methods should be adopted:
a) Rotate the camshaft, push the plunger to the top dead center, remove the delivery valve and valve seat, and measure. The depth cursor.
B) After pushing the plunger to the top dead center, use a screwdriver to pry the spring seat of the plunger spring and raise the plunger to a high point. Then use a thicker gauge to measure between the lower plane of the plunger and the tappet adjustment bolt. The standard travel margin of the plunger is about 1.5mm, and the limit travel margin after wear should be no less than 0.5mm.
This is the introduction of taboo points for deep well drilling machines. I hope it will be helpful to you.
