Generally, there are eight major systems (lifting system, rotating system, drilling fluid circulation system, transmission system, control system and monitoring and display instrument, power drive system, drilling rig substructure, drilling rig auxiliary equipment system), with tripping capacity, rotary drilling capacity and circulating flushing capacity. Its main equipment includes: derrick, overhead crane, winch, traveling block, hook, rotary table, faucet (power faucet) and drilling pump (the site is customarily called eight parts of drilling rig), power machine (diesel engine, electric motor, gas turbine), linkage machine, solid control equipment, well control equipment, etc.
