1. Find low places in high altitude according to the geomorphological conditions, and find water in valleys or geomorphological low-lying areas. For example, in mountain areas, groundwater usually gathers in valleys or metabolizes the unearthed layer to form springs. 2. Find rock layers with good water permeability and poor water permeability in rock layers. Find water in mountain areas with good water permeability (lime powder areas). Due to the good water permeability of rock layers, rainfall penetrates very deep along the cracks, and the buried depth of groundwater foundation is tens of meters to hundreds of meters. It is difficult to drill such deep wells in mountain areas with scattered residential areas at this stage. To find water in such an area, one must make every effort to find superficial or relative aquifers. In that way, the aquifer can stop the groundwater that has penetrated into the upper end from seeping down again and accumulating on top of the aquifer. This type of fissure water, although sometimes the water flow is not large, but the buried shallow, small and medium-sized residential areas of tap water can meet the requirements.
3. Find rock layers with poor water permeability. Find rock layers with good water permeability in some igneous rock layers or mountainous areas with quartz sandstone. If there is no structural fissure growth and development in the deep bedrock of drilling, its water permeability is very poor. However, the upper end of the bedrock is weathered due to long-term weathered layer, resulting in thick weathered crust with excellent water permeability. 4. Looking for centralization in decentralization Looking for water in rock formations with uneven fissures, the unevenness of rock fissures should be used.
